QEH Foundation Supports Breast Health with the 2026 Ultimate Shed Giveaway
JUNE 20, 2026
CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Ultimate Shed Giveaway is back, featuring Linden Hollow — a one-of-a-kind, professionally designed backyard retreat valued at more than $40,000. Tickets are on sale now at qehfoundation.pe.ca/shed, the QEH Foundation office, and all five Kent Building Supplies locations across Prince Edward Island.

Built with care by PEI’s leading construction and design professionals, Linden Hollow is more than just a beautiful shed. It’s fully insulated, wired, and furnished, and includes up to $1,000 in electrical hook-up along with free delivery to any accessible location on PEI. Whether it becomes a quiet escape, a home office, or a cozy guest space, it’s designed to bring comfort and joy to its future owner.
Islanders can step inside Linden Hollow during a public Open House at Kent Charlottetown on Saturday, June 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Now in its sixth year, the Ultimate Shed Giveaway is a community-led campaign spearheaded by Jennie Arsenault of Arsenault Bros. Construction, Sara Dykerman of Plank & Pine Interior Design, and Jim Power of Kent Building Supplies.
Together through this campaign, Islanders have already helped raise nearly $325,000 to support breast health through essential equipment and technology purchases at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
This year, proceeds will help fund the purchase of a Navigator 2.0 Control Unit and Lymphatic Mapping Probes — vital equipment used during breast cancer surgery.
“This technology helps provide more accurate staging and surgical outcomes, supports better decision-making, and ultimately leads to stronger outcomes for patients,” explains Cindy Barry, Nurse Manager of Surgical Services. “Without this equipment, these procedures would be limited or delayed, and more patients may need to travel or face longer wait times for care.”
Each year, about 250 Islanders rely on this type of surgery at the QEH.
“This campaign is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together,” says Tracey Comeau, CEO of the QEH Foundation. “Every ticket purchased helps ensure our medical teams have the tools they need to deliver the very best care to Islanders facing a breast cancer diagnosis.”
Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. They are available online and at Kent locations until June 30, and in person until 11:00 a.m. on July 3 at the QEH Foundation office.
The grand prize draw will take place at Kent Charlottetown on Friday, July 3 at 12:00 p.m., and will be broadcast live on the QEH Foundation Facebook page.
