Your Hospital Away From Home

Established in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the US Friends of Queen Elizabeth Hospital is the connection between our hospital and our visitors from the United States and their friends and families who want to support the medical needs of our Island’s main referral hospital.

A charitable gift through the US Friends of Queen Elizabeth Hospital can take many forms, including:

  • An outright contribution
  • A pledge to make an annual gift through preauthorized payment
  • A bequest left in your Will to the US Friends of Queen Elizabeth Hospital Inc.
  • A planned gift such as a charitable remainder trust.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital receives the greatest benefit – the security knowing that you care about our hospital and want to make a difference. A lasting legacy allows the hospital to better serve the community in the future by knowing medical equipment is never a barrier to quality healthcare.

Seasonal Residents Enjoy PEI

Massachusetts residents Paul and MaryBeth McGrath are grateful for the services available at the QEH that has helped them and their family continue the long-standing tradition of vacationing in PEI, while still receiving excellent health care away from ‘home’.
