Help Furnish the QEH Comfort Suite,
A Place for Families to Stay Close to Care

The QEH Comfort Suite:
A Place to Stay Close to Care

Receiving care at our Island’s main referral hospital can mean more than the appointment; it can bring the emotional and financial burden of being far from home during an already difficult time.

Thanks to a generous gift from Bevan Enterprises, a new QEH Comfort Suite will provide a dedicated apartment for patients with urgent or exceptional needs. Access to the suite is by referral only, through the QEH Social Work Department, ensuring it is available to those who need it most.

QEH Foundation will receive the keys to this donated apartment on December 1, and we want to open the doors quickly to families who need this support. To make that possible, we are launching a 48hour fundraising appeal to raise $10,000 to furnish the suite with everything a patient and their family needs to rest and regroup from day-to-day intensive treatment — from beds and bedding to kitchen essentials, linens, and small comforts.

Every contribution helps create a safe, welcoming space for Islanders facing difficult moments. Any funds raised beyond the $10,000 goal will support the QEH Social Work Fund.

Your gift today will help open the doors of the QEH Comfort Suite for Islanders in need.
